Holiday Tour – During a tour of South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland, make sure you visit Cape Town, Oudtshoorn and Kruger National Park. South Africa is also called, a world in one country, thanks to the enormous diversity of culture and nature, safaris, wine farms, the Garden Route, the Drakensberg Mountains and the wildlife of the Kruger National Park. The independent states Lesotho and Swaziland add to this their unique culture.

Safari South Africa

The Sanbona Private Game Reserve is one of the most beautiful wildlife parks of South Africa. Located in the heart of the Karoo, it is malaria free and it’s pretty exclusive. Besides the Big Five, this park is best known for the fact that white lions roam here. Next to being very child friendly, this is also the most expensive wildlife park of the Western Cape.
In the heart of the Eastern Cape around the Great Fish River is the Kwandwe Private Game Reserve. The Big Five are walking freely around here, and so are many thousands of other animals. The wildlife park is also “home”, to many cheetahs, something that attracts many people from the surrounding area to Kwandwe. The fact that there are no malaria mosquitoes in this safari park, which means no malaria pills are needed, makes the park a popular place for families and other vacationers. Even bird watchers will be very happy in this park thanks to the large diversity of exotic birds.
Another favorite game reserve to visit while enjoying the Garden Route, is the Addo Elephant Park. This safari park offers accommodations for every type of traveler: from budget backpacker to the more upscale traveler. But you can also camp in a tent or caravan in Addo Elephant Park, or rent a self-catering cottage. The park is not only malaria free, but it’s also largest safari park in South Africa, after Kruger’s. Besides that, it’s one of the most child-friendly safari park in South Africa. Just like in the Kruger Park, you are not dependent on organized game drives, but you can drive around with your own (4 × 4) car in the park, to spot the Big Five.
